We understand that collectors and gamers have different priorities when it comes to buying out-of-print materials, so we take great efforts to provide you with an impartial grade for all of our products. Each of our products is looked over carefully and its contents assessed before being listed for sale. Please note, we are very conservative in our grading as we would prefer to grade something lower than to have a surprised customer. All products are 100% complete unless the description of the product indicates otherwise.

Following is our system for grading conditions. Please read through our Condition Grading System carefully before purchasing products from the store.

Condition Grading System

(NIS) New in Shrinkwrap – Brand new from the manufacturer. New in shrinkwrap items are in Mint or Near Mint condition unless otherwise noted in parentheses.

(N) New – Brand new from the manufacturer. New items are in Mint or Near Mint condition unless otherwise noted in parentheses.

(M) Mint – Perfect unblemished condition. Very collectible.
BOXES – Box is in perfect unblemished condition.

(NM) Near Mint – Nearly perfect, with only slight shelf wear or minor imperfections. No markings or tears. Suitable for collecting and playing.
BOXES – Box may show slight concavity. Corners are intact. Little to no wear.

(VF) Very Fine – Used and loved. Some wear is evident. May have slightly bent or rounded corners, slight scuffing or rubbing on cover, or small spine creases. No markings or tears. Suitable for collecting and playing.
BOXES – Box may show slight to moderate concavity. Corners are intact. Light wear may be evident.

(F) Fine – Lightly used. Cover may be slightly creased or discolored, and shows shelf wear. Corners may be rounded or bent. Spine may be creased. Small stains or markings may be evident. No tears. Slight cover curl or delamination on edges of cover may be evident. Cover may have small notch cut out indicating a preview or review copy.
BOXES – Box may show concavity. 1 or 2 corners may be torn and taped. Light wear is evident.

(VG) Very Good – Moderately used. May have a worn cover with creases, scuffing, scratches, and possibly discoloration. Moderate cover curl or delaminating may be present. Interior may be marked. Binding may be loose. Some water damage may be evident. Binding may be punched for insertion into a 3-ring binder.
BOXES – Box may be slightly crushed or show concavity. Some, but not all corners may be torn and taped. Wear is evident.

(G) Good – Used. A well-read or -played copy, still 100% complete and useable. Cover is probably worn with medium to large creases. Cover and interior may be torn. Interior may be extensively marked. Binding may be loose. Spine may be curled. Pages or inserts such as maps may be loose. Handouts may be cut out (but included). Product may have suffered extensive water damage.
BOXES – Box may be crushed or concave. Corners may be torn and taped. Box may show excessive wear.

(P) Poor – Used and abused. May evidence excessive wear, sizeable tears or stains, excessive highlighting or writing, illegible or missing content. Suitable only for reference or parts. We do not sell items in poor condition unless the item is particularly rare.

• If the product includes a box or removable cover, the condition for the box or removable cover will be listed first, and the condition of the contents listed second. e.g. F/NM
• A plus sign after a condition indicates that the product is close to the next highest condition level. Notes beside the condition code may more accurately describe the condition.
